20th October, 2018
We were joined by great young soloists, an orchestra
and a large appreciative audience at this concert.
9th February, 2019
Anna Davey played Bloch’s “Rapsodie” from Suite Hebraique on viola with
passion and commitment. We sang Britten’s Hymn to St. Cecilia and all (yes all!)
of Parry’s Songs of Farewell, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of their
premiere.
15th June, 2019
To celebrate 25 years of our choir, we were joined by several former members,
some of whom travelled from afar (even New Zealand!) to make a huge sound
in Parry’s I Was Glad and other items. Here are some audience quotes:
“… a glorious concert… it was sublime…looking forward to the next one…”
“…what a concert! The choir sounded great…such a lovely programme with
so many of my favourites…”
12th October, 2019
We celebrated the solo talents of some of our members in our
most recent concert, and, after hearing the men sing alone,
and the women sing alone, combined in ten parts in Scarlatti’s
glorious, Stabat Mater.
8th February, 2020
Our programme about secret messages featured a special
guest, Alfie from BYMT, on saxophone.
